Top 3 players to have played for both Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur
At #3 is French center-back William Gallas, who began his stint in the Premier League with Chelsea in 2001 and won 2 league titles with them. He moved on to London rivals Arsenal in 2006, and after spending 4 years there, he made the switch in North London to Tottenham Hotspur in 2010.
#2 Gus Poyet
The Uruguayan midfielder joined Chelsea in 1997, and in 145 appearances, he scored 49 goals for the club. But in 2001, he joined Tottenham Hotspur, much to the wrath of the Chelsea faithful. While his first season at Spurs went well, his time there was largely stricken by injuries.
And at #1, we have Tottenham Hotspur legend Glenn Hoddle. Between 1975 and 1987, Hoddle made 490 appearances for Spurs, scoring 110 goals. He then had stints at Monaco and Swindon Town, before signing with Chelsea as player-manager in 1993.
