Archie Gray - Leeds United's Third Generation Wonderkid

Archie Gray is a third-generation Leeds United FC player and the fourth Gray to represent Leeds after his grandfather, his great-uncle, and his dad, Andy.

Leeds United's third generation wonderkid! To say that Archie Gray is part of a rich football heritage would be an understatement. The midfielder is a third-generation Leeds United player, and the fourth Gray to represent Leeds after his grandfather Frank, his great-uncle Eddie, and his dad Andy.

At 17 years, 147 days, Archie became the youngest in the Gray family to make his debut for Leeds with his appearance against Cardiff City in August 2023. On 24th February 2024, Archie became the third-generation Gray to score for Leeds after his father and grandfather. The youngster scored the second goal in a 3-1 win over table-toppers Leicester City in the Championship.

Although rare, there have been a few footballers who've been part of a dynasty such as the Grays, most notably the Maldinis. While nobody in the family could quite reach the heights of Paolo Maldini, his father Cesare and son Daniel have both played for AC Milan.
